GRS is a voluntary product standard that tracks and verifies the recycled material content of a final product. The standard applies to the entire supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labeling. GRS includes the manufacturing, packaging, labeling, sales and distribution of all products produced with a minimum of 20% recycled materials. It also sets out requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a testing and certification system for textile products, including materials from raw materials to semi-finished products as well as finishing in all processing and production stages. The STANDARD 100 certification process supports targeted product management for companies in the textile and garment chain with criteria for human ecological product safety, based on a list of scientific criteria and testing in an independent laboratory. For consumers and buyers, the STANDARD 100 label is trusted evidence that textile products have been tested to strict global standards to protect consumers from toxic substances.
